Why We Exist.
At Dale Baptist Church, everything we do flows from one conviction: that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the best news the world has ever heard, and we are called to share it. Our purpose — rooted in Scripture and lived out in community — shapes how we worship, how we serve, and how we welcome everyone who walks through our doors.
Our purpose is to:
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Matthew 28:19-20 NIVTo proclaim and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible — in our church and throughout the world.

To seek to do the will of God in our community as He empowers us through the working of His Holy Spirit.

To experience meaningful fellowship with God and with fellow believers — a community built on love, not obligation.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." Revelation 3:20 ESV
To help new and fellow Christians grow through total commitment to the Lordship of Christ in life, personality, and possessions.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
To be a church that ministers unselfishly to persons in our community in the name of Christ.
"There is one body and one Spirit — just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call." Ephesians 4:4 ESV
To be a community where every person — regardless of where they are in their faith journey — is genuinely welcomed as Christ has welcomed us.

Dale Baptist Church holds to the historic Christian faith as summarized in the Baptist Faith and Message. These are not our opinions — they are the great truths of Scripture that have shaped followers of Jesus for centuries.
The Scriptures
The Holy Bible is God's inspired, authoritative Word — totally true and trustworthy in all that it affirms. It is the supreme standard by which all human conduct and belief should be measured.

There is one and only one living God. He reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons of one divine nature, equal in every divine perfection. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, and all-wise.

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return in glory. He is the only way to salvation.

Salvation is God's free gift, offered to all who repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Christ. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

A New Testament church is a local congregation of baptized believers who are committed to Christ and to one another. The church exists to glorify God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism.

Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water — a public declaration of faith in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's Supper is a memorial of Christ's sacrifice, observed regularly by the church.

The Kingdom of God includes both God's general sovereignty over the universe and His particular kingship over those who willfully acknowledge Him as Lord. Christians are called to seek His Kingdom first in all things.

God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. The dead will be raised — the saved to eternal life, and the lost to eternal separation from God.
