Pastor Notes

Thanks to the great attendees at church on Sunday! The sermon was a concluding word using the acrostic B-L-E-S-S-E-D, and I am hopeful our congregation is aware that the emphasis is on the continuation and intent for God to continue to meet us with His abundant blessings. Are you looking for His blessing today in your personal walk with Him? With your family? With our church? Pray with gratitude, believing He has something good for us!

Some days I simply need to return to the hymns of my childhood. In this period of acknowledging that our church has already been blessed, join me in the chorus: "Count your many blessings, name them one by one. Count your many blessings, see what God has done. Count your Blessings! Name them one by one... Count your many blessings, see what God hath done!"

What a day of blessings! We saw one come forward for baptism and membership, and enjoyed a great 5th Sunday dinner today! Thanks be to God as He continues to bless us.
