Turkey Season

Six turkeys. Six prizes. Hold on to one.

Turkey Season begins Wednesday, November 4 and ends at Fancy Friendsgiving on Sunday, November 22. If you have a turkey when the game ends—and you are at Fancy Friendsgiving—you win a prize.

Register by 11:59 PM on November 4.
No one may join beginning November 5.

Find It

Ask one person, in person: “Do you have a turkey?” No texting, social media, group questions, or asking through someone else.

Battle

If they have one, play one rock-paper-scissors shoot. If tied, shoot again until somebody wins.

Claim It

Scan the QR code, choose the turkey number, enter your name and PIN, and claim it within five minutes.

Protect It

Keep the turkey on you or secured in your immediate personal belongings. Do not leave it home, hide it, gift it, or let someone hold it.

Keep your PIN private. You will need it every time you win a turkey.

Claim a Turkey

Important Rules

  • You may possess only one turkey. A holder cannot challenge for another.
  • If you lose a turkey, that numbered turkey is off-limits to you for one hour. You may challenge for any other turkey.
  • Only challenge when Turkey Season has been announced through Gloo.
  • First person to ask gets the challenge. Ask only one person at a time.
  • Answer truthfully. Ignoring, hiding, or avoiding people is against the rules.
  • No stealing, grabbing, physical contact, gifting, or temporary holds.
  • Lost or damaged turkeys leave the game, and that prize is not awarded.
  • Falsely claiming a turkey online is cheating.

Breaking the Rules

The first violation results in a three-day suspension and immediate surrender of any turkey. A second violation results in disqualification. Anyone suspended when the game ends cannot win.

Doug resolves all disputes. His decision is final. Teenage courtroom arguments—or “Divorce Court,” @Bethenny, @Natalie, and @Jypsy—will not change it.

How to Win

You must be registered and eligible, physically possess your registered turkey, and be present at Fancy Friendsgiving when Turkey Season ends. Arriving afterward, leaving early, or keeping the turkey at home does not count.
